Grumpy buds with a pattern,

Why do you look like lantern?

A tubular bloom resembling bells with freckles,

It’s a long walk for bees to collect trickles,

Drooping down to converse with grass below,

You collectively nod to day hello!

Foxglove is the name,

Of native European fame,

Colouring the dry lands early summer,

Merrily basking in the sun till late September.
