Lavandula Lavender,

Grows in dry rocks and sandy earth,

Loves the Mediterranean winter,

Numerous uses one can unearth.

Hybrid Lavandin with larger flower,

Sweet overtones for slippery application,

Harvested for its fragrant power,

Yet some lands detest cultivation.

Aromatic partner to desserts so many,

Spicy mentor to dishes with rosemary,

Green buds used in lavender teas,

Essential ingredient in monofloral honey.

Pale purple addition to potpourri,

Dried flowers in wedding confetti,

Deters moths among attires preserved,

Addition in scented water for individuals reserved.
