That distributes heat
for fun,
Helter-skelter run
many a contour,
Shelter in different
proportion.
The tall palm,
Gives stripes of cool
and calm,
Fanned leaves that
dance,
To the winds rhythmic
prance.
The leaves that
collectively weep,
Gather near the trunk
for a welcome sleep,
The bulk of the green
droop,
Making the shadow dark
and deep.
The wide canopy of the
evergreen,
Even heat find it
tough to be seen,
Under such a dense
umbrella of broad verdure,
The tint of the sun's
gaze is somber.
A solitary man-made
cross-hatch,
Fills the concrete
patch,
Competing to provide
adequate tint,
Succeeding in blocking
out the glint.
Together man and
nature,
Survive and nurture
each other,
A shadow screen to the
weary to rest,
A casted cover that
push achievers to test.
