A flower with petals in multiples of twenty,

Has been around since decades a plenty,

Blooms in over five hundred variations,

Slows aging and its degeneration,

Prolongs life in ethereal state,

Few colours look like simple daisies,

But wedged leaves gives away its fate,

Some use it to sooth eye allergies,

Affected by bugs and scales umpteen,

Symbolic to death, adversity or honesty,

Beliefs of the land, from where it comes,

The many faces of chrysanthemum.
